Gary Lee Davis, 59, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 14, 2018, at his home in Seaview. He was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Sikeston, Missouri.
Gary was a very boisterous fellow, and a big teddy bear. His passing was the only quiet action he has ever done.
He was known by family to be an extraordinaire artist, a talented carpenter and a family man. He was a Catholic and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was very proud to be a Knight of Columbus, third degree and ascended to fourth degree at the Vancouver Lodge.
He earned an AA degree in science of the arts, of which is was very proud.
Gary is survived by his wife, Laura Mullenniex Davis; brothers, Tony Carl Davis, Richard Dale Davis and Robert Earl Dickson; and by a sister, Dona Dickson Tilley, as well as other extended family.
He was dearly loved, and he will be greatly missed. His passing leaves a void in many people’s lives
A mass will be held on Oct. 13, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church with a reception following. His final committal will be at Lone Fir Cemetery.
His guestbook is available at Penttila’s Chapel by the Sea, Long Beach.
