Roberta Lee Kennedy born 9/19/1933 deceased 8/30/2024

Roberta went to join her loved ones passed before her on August 30, 2024 in Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband Neil Kennedy, daughter and son-in-law Candy & Greg Gilett, grandson Josh Gilett and grandson Jason Pflugauph. 

Roberta loved to garden. Her Long Beach, WA. home was a beautiful testament to her hard work. She also enjoyed square dancing, Swedish weaving, and embroidery. Her family were the lucky recipients of all her creations and they will always be treasured. 

Her other hobby was keeping her kids in line with her wishes, which we all excelled at with happy hearts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be missed by all of us so very much. 

She is survived by her sister Donna Grover of Wrangel, AK, her children Craig and Theresa Kennedy of Oklahoma, Steve & Lori (Sterns) Olson of Molalla, OR, Dan & Shirley Thompson of Canby, OR, Mike Kennedy of Portland, OR, Lue & Karen Wilson of AK & WA, John & Kari Olson of Molalla, OR and her niece Jackie and husband Rex. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her beach family in Long Beach, WA.

What a truly great life she lived, loved by so many. 

Her memorial will be held on October 19, 2024 at 1pm at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea Funeral Home. 1515 S. Pacific Ave. Long Beach, WA. 98631.
