Patricia Ruth Fregosa-Alanis, age 77, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025, at her home in Wenatchee, Washington.
She was born July 26, 1947, in Fort Baker, California, the fourth child of Lemuel and Luisa Williamson. Patricia attended Woodrow Wilson High School in San Francisco and graduated as a “Warrior“ in 1965. She continued her education at San Jose City College, earning a degree in Physics and Behavioral Science. She had a distinguished career as a human resources supervisor, and later as a property manager. Patricia fled rainy downtown Seattle to the sunnier and drier part of the state in Wenatchee, where she filled her retirement days working in retail.
Nicknamed Toot or Tootsie by her family, Patricia was a strong, independent, kind, and loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother; and her laughter was contagious. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with family. Patricia had a passion for writing, especially poetry, and was self-published in various books.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Lemuel and Luisa Williamson, brother Kevin Williamson, and sister Priscilla Jorgensen.
Patricia is survived by her son Michael Fregosa of Blythe, CA, daughter Amy (Bo) Moreno and granddaughter Mia Rose of Blue Springs, MO, her brothers Charles (Beverly) Williamson, Peter (Linda) Williamson of Vancouver, WA, Paul (Rosario) Williamson of San Francisco, CA, and sisters Mary Williamson of Wenatchee, WA, and Rose Lightcap of Portland, OR, as well as many cousins, 17 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews, and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
