Norma "Chris" Christine Hill

Our friend and sister, Chris Hill, passed away on January 7, 2024. Chris was born in 1951. She attended many schools from New York to Hawaii in her early years. Her large military family traveled from one base to another, but Chris still managed to earn good grades even after being uprooted so often. She is survived by her two sisters Susie and Lynn and many close friends who all feel that she left us far too soon.

Chris spent her final years in Ocean Park, Washington on the Long Beach Peninsula where friends, neighbors and acquaintances enjoyed her steadfast support and unique sense of humor. She always had an intelligent opinion on any topic of discussion, and we all feel like a library of knowledge has been lost that can never be replaced.

Chris is survived by her former husband, Blaine Hill, and a countless number of adult children that she loved and helped to raise. Those who received the benefit of her loving child care think of her lovingly as their “Meemo.” Her positive impact on so many lives she touched will never be forgotten.
