Kenneth Schmaltz

On September 2, 2021, Kenneth A. Schamltz, 71, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends. Born on August 16, 1950 in Rugby, North Dakota, he is survived by his wife, Louella Schmatlz, stepdaughter Charla Hodges, granddaughter Lindsay Bingaman, sisters Marion Jenson and Patti Schmaltz, brother Leonard Schmaltz, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was a long-time resident of Long Beach and Ocean Park. He was an active member of his church and the community. A master carpenter, he could always be found in his shop working on projects for family and friends. He was loved and will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
