Connie Bolden

     Connie Eloise (Johnson) Bolden passed away peacefully in Ilwaco, WA. on July 21, 2023. Everybody who met Connie loved her. She was born April 12, 1942 to Robert and Iris (Davis) Johnson. Connie was raised in Longview, WA and worked at the Woodland Tulip Farm as a young girl. When she met Les Bolden, it was love at first sight, and they raised five children together: Chuck (Stephanie) Bolden, Lori (Frank) Bolden, Joan (Greg) Christoson, Mark (Lesley) Bolden, and Jerry (Barb) Bolden.  

     The Boldens moved to the Long Beach Peninsula in 1968 where Connie worked at Roy's Market, Okies Sentry, Jack's Country Store and finally for 16 years as everybody's favorite Lunch Lady for the school district. 

     More than anything, she loved her family: all her kids, 8 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids with some great-great grandkids on the way. She was a skilled crochet artist, could feed a crowd on a dime, and enjoyed family campouts and just being around her people. 

     She was predeceased by her husband Les Bolden and sister Carol Docksteader. Beloved brother George (Marcia) Johnson survives in Longview, WA.
