Ava L. Driscoll

April 1, 1963 — May 16, 2022

Ava L. Driscoll, 59, of Seattle, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022. A graveside service is planned for Thursday, May 26th at 10am in Ilwaco Cemetery. Ava Lavonne Driscoll was born in Seattle, Washington to Les and Ann Driscoll on April 1, 1963. She attended Fauntleroy Grade School, Denny Jr. High, and graduated from Sealth International High School where she earned letters in Track and Cross Country. She played the piano, was very artistic, and a talented photographer. She volunteered as a photographer and website manager for the Northwest Region of the Metropolitan Opera. Ava earned a Bachelor's degree in Botany from the University of Washington. She loved flowers and plants, and volunteered at the Arboretum. She later earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science from South Seattle College, and was quite a computer whiz. During her life, she worked for Alexander and Alexander Insurance, Home Depot, as a property manager, and was a web designer. Avawas very industrious and a hard worker. She was a member of the Daughter of the Pioneers, as both of her grandmother's families had come to Oregon on the Oregon Trail. While Ava was growing up, she spent her summers at Oysterville with her parents and her brothers, Dan and Dennis. She enjoyed swimming in the bay, bike riding, clamming, helping with the family oyster business, and visiting with her grandparents, Virginia and Ted Holway, and other relatives and friends. Ava was very loyal to her family and always enjoyed helping others. She left us all too soon. We are devastated by our loss of Ava but glad that she is in heaven with those who have gone before her. She is survived by her parents, Les and Virginia Ann Driscoll; brothers, Dan and wife, Linda, and Dennis Driscoll; niece, Shannon Driscoll.
