Allene Edmondson

Allene Marie (Williams) Edmondson passed away in her home in Naselle, WA on Monday, March 5. Allene was born in Puyallup, WA on December 30, 1941 to Allison and Ethel Williams. She spent her childhood in the Sumner area. Allene had a MA degree in education and retired from teaching after 25 years. Allene had a love for horses her entire life and spent many years riding both competitively and recreationally. After retirement she devoted much of her time to miniature pincher rescue. She enjoyed boating, fishing, and traveling to warm destinations. She is survived by her husband Danny Edmondson of Naselle, daughters Denise Edmondson of Portland, OR, Lisa VanDyk of Eagle, ID, Laura Yokoyama of Seaside, OR, brothers Pat Williams of Tacoma, WA, John Williams of LasVegas, NV, and sister Joanie Williams of Sumner, WA. Allene was the proud grandmother of Colin, Leslie, Mimi, Jennie, Jon, Ashlynn, Keanu, Evan, and great granddaughter Katelyn. A memorial service will be held at Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave. at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 8.
