Naselle resident Beulah I. Raemhild, 84, died January 9, 2007 at Meridian Park Hospital in Tualatin, Oregon. The daughter of Andrew and Laura Golden, she was born August 2, 1922 in Culbertson, Montana. Beulah married Naselle native Wallace "Wally" Raemhild on January 20, 1945 in Walla Walla, Washington. Following her husbands discharge from the US Army at the end of the Second World War Beulah moved with Wally to Naselle. She resided there until last September when she moved to the Portland area to be near her daughter. Beulah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Naselle Lutheran Church for many years. Beulah is survived by son Gary Raemhild and his wife Meran and their three children Loren, Ian and Garrett of Seattle; daughter Beverly Malone and her husband Richard of Lake Oswego, OR and their son Michael of New York, NY; sisters Gladys Helland of Culbertson, MT, Helen Seymour of Richland Center, Wisconsin, Margaret Brandt of Lake Oswego, OR, Genevieve Makoff of Lancaster, CA; and brother James Golden of Helena, MT. She was preceded in death by her husband in January of 1996. Memorial service will be Saturday, January 20, 2007, 1:00 PM at the Naselle Lutheran Church with a reception following at the church.
