Donna Lee Bashore

Donna L. Bashore, 59, died March 2, 2007 in Long Beach where she had resided the past three years. The daughter of George and Marion (Jacobs) Bashore, she was born July 22, 1947 in Pontiac, Illinois. Donna lived in Pontiac and then in California during her early years before settling in the Seattle-Tacoma area where she resided until moving to Long Beach. The happiest time in Donna's life was after she moved to the beach. Here she attained stability with family and friends. In earlier years she enjoyed swimming. Before her death she and her sister enjoyed a special trip to California. Her family was very important to her. Donna is survived by her sister Jorja Halpin of South Bend, WA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorial service will be Saturday, March 17, 2007, 1:00 PM at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea, Long Beach. A reception follows. Private inurnment will be at New Bay Center Cemetery.
