Dick Alan Olson, 54, of Seaview, WA, died peacefully at home, March 10, 2008; following a courageous battle with cancer, and less than eight months from the death of his beloved twin brother Don. Dick was born June 2, 1953, to Adrian and Gladys Olson in Vancouver, WA. Working on the family plot picking raspberries, money was earned for school clothes and fun. After earning a GED through Job Corps, Dick went on to become a souse chef. Dick moved to Seaview 15 years ago, followed by Don a year later. They become know locally as the "Olson Twins". Dick worked as a chef at Laurie's Homestead and The Lamplighter. The "Twins" enjoyed living at the beach with a loving extended family. Hunting, fishing, clamming, pool and dart tournaments and karaoke... (occupied thoughts and actions). Dick is survived by bother James (CarolAnne) Olson and nieces and nephew. A potluck celebration will be held at Rod's Lamplighter in Seaview, Mar. 22, 2008 at 1 P.M , with friends and family gathering to wish him continued adventures with Don. Contributions can be made to Hospice, for the loving care provided by Donna and Christy of Harbors Home Health and Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to Penttila's Chapel by the Sea in Long Beach.
