George Wayne Crouch, 64, of Ocean Park, WA died June 23, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born March 4, 1944 in Seattle, WA to George and Edith (Rumble) Crouch. He grew up in the Seattle area and graduated from Ballard High School. After high school, George joined the Navy and served actively for 20 years. Following his time in the service, he became a maintenance supervisor for a Seattle area property management company where he was awarded with many accommodations. On November 11, 1992 he married DiAnne Miller (Longfellow). In 2000 they moved permanently to their beach home here on the peninsula, an area that George loved. George had a passion for fishing, billiards, and woodworking. Anybody who had the opportunity to sample his grilling considered him an excellent BBQ'er. He was an avid lover of animals, especially dogs. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodges in Ocean Park. George is survived by his wife DiAnne Crouch-Miller, children Sheryl King, George Crouch, Sherry Crouch, Jhoner Crouch and stepson Collin Miller as well as sisters Patricia Lambro, Louise Haney and Kathryn Crouch. No formal funeral services are planned. Family requests that instead of sending any flowers that donations be made to the South Pacific County Humane Society.
