Glen Henderson

Glen E. Henderson, 79, died September 22, 2007 at his Seaview residence after a debilitating stroke and hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Oklahoma and was one of nine children all raised by his mother Mamie on a farm. As a young man Glen served in the US Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. After moving to the Peninsula 31 years ago Glen worked for the Ocean Beach School District. A member of Pacific Bible Church of Ilwaco, Glen loved his Lord, his country, his church and helping others. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Glen is survived by his wife Jeri; sister Ina Anderson of Idaho; brother Herman Henderson of California; children Ron Henderson of Vancouver, WA, Janell McClincy of Arlington, WA, Glen Henderson of Federal Way, WA, Misty Herbert of Corvallis, OR, Melanie Danison of Port Orchard, WA, James Henderson of Kennewick, WA, and Leanna Bidinger of Spanaway, WA; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Glen's life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 29, 2007, 1:30 PM at Pacific Bible Church in Ilwaco.
