Obituary of Lucas Robert Barrett Lucas Robert Barrett, 18, of Ilwaco died suddenly at OSHU in Portland. He was born August 13, 1989 in Seaside to Michael and Shari (Zakrzewski) Barrett. Luke spent his entire life on the Peninsula, attending school in Ilwaco. A self described "contrarian," Luke was a leader with his friends and well liked by everyone. A musician foremost, he was one of three members of the band Stillborn Graves. He wrote music and poems, some of which were published nationally and internationally on a narrative CD. He was Michael's and Shari's only child, and they survive him, as well as his grandparents. A celebration of Luke's life will be held Monday, February 25, 2008 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea, Long Beach. Guestbook may be signed at www.penttilaschapel.com.
