Randy Buen

Family and friends of Randy Buen, 56, gathered December 13, 2008 at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea in Long Beach to celebrated his life and honor his memory. A resident of Ocean Park, Randy died December 9th on Ilwaco. Born April 13, 1952 in Portland, Oregon, Randy was the son of Vincent and Muriel. Randy grew up in the St. Johns neighborhood of North Portland and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He was a self employed scrap recycler and later was worked as a welder and boilermaker. Twenty years ago he moved to the Peninsula. Randy assisted his mother in her business and worked a variety of jobs locally. In past years he had traveled the world extensively where his personality introduced him to people from all walks of life. Survivors include his mother Muriel Lothes of Nahcotta; sister Rose Crouchley; brothers Richard, Ronald and Rodney; son Ryan; former wife Sheri; and other members of his extended family.
