Norma Lee Hoglund, 88, of Ilwaco, WA died December 13, 2008. She was born March 16, 1920 in Blythe, CA to Ben and Olive (Curtis) Selk. It was while she was in high school she met Rondo Hoglund. They were married in 1940. They were married for fifty-six years until his death in 1996. With the children entering adulthood, Norma began a career she was most proud of, librarian at a nursing school. In 1996 Rondo and Norma moved to the Peninsula. Rondo passed away later that year. Norma had a fascination with ancient civilizations. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and had a love of reading. Animals enthralled her. First and foremost was her love of family.
