Henry Gabriel Landavazo, 55, of Ocean Park, WA died December 14, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born October 12, 1953 in St. John's, Arizona, one of twelve children of Porfirio and Jackie (Mares) Landavazo. The family lived in St. John's until moving to Flagstaff when Henry was thirteen. He then graduated from Coconino High School in Flagstaff. Henry married Vickie Smith on November 3, 1984 in Flagstaff. They lived there until moving to Redding, CA in 1988. They moved to the Long Beach peninsula in 1997. Henry worked in construction his whole life. His family was first and foremost in his life. He and Vickie played competitive horseshoes in around Arizona and California. He was a jack of all trades and a master of most of them. He was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, especially automotive repair. He enjoyed karaoke and playing pool and loved fishing and capmingHe will be most remembered as being a huge Chicago Bears fan. Henry is survived by wife Vickie of the family home; mother Jackie Landavazo of Kingman, AZ; Children - Sandie (Robert) Harper of Redding, CA, Julie (Andrew) Isaason of Tacoma, WA, Lance Rosendale of San Diego, CA, Frank Landavazo of Lovelock, NV, Christina Landavazo of Kansas City, MO and Sheryl Riley of Ocean Park, WA; Brothers - Ernie, Tony and Larry Landavazo; Sisters - Linda Martinez, Dina Martinez, Pricilla Lopez, Dorothy Baca, JoAnna Elam, Theresa Gardner and Cathy Landavazo; sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 o'clock in the morning on December 27, 2008 at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea, Long Beach, WA. A reception will follow.
