Jaclyn was born in Onawa, Iowa in 1952 to Jack and Nina Bouslaugh. She is survived by her husband Ray Gehrke of Long Beach, Washington; son Keith Manske and wife Rachelle of Lake Stevens, Washington; step-son Jeremy Gehrke of Bismarck, North Dakota; brothers Donald Bouslaugh of Des Moines, Iowa and Richard Smith of Knox, Indiana; sisters Carole Bouslaugh of Edmonds, Washington, Cheryl Gentry and Rhonda Saylor both of Knox, Indiana; two granddaughters; four grandsons; and thirty-seven nieces and nephews. Jaclyn was preceded in death by her parents, sister Audrey and niece Elise. Jaclyn was a 1970 graduate of West Monona High School in Onawa, Iowa. She moved to Washington state where she lived her adult life. Jaclyn and husband Ray created and owned J&R Enterprises (a construction supply company) in North Bend, Washington from 1987 to 2000. Jaclyn also owned and operated Jaclyn Rose Antiques in North Bend. They semi-retired to Spokane, Washington before moving to Long Beach, Washington where they owned and operated the Mermaid Inn and RV Park. The most important things in her life were her family and friends. Jaclyn was known for her wit, humor, honesty and love. She had a wide variety of hobbies and interests, some of which were antiques, genealogy, travel, gardening and needle work. Jaclyn passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 26th, 2008.
