Robert Hinde

Robert K. Hinde, 49, died January 11, 2009 at his Ocean Park residence as a result of cancer. The son of Robert T. and Joyce (Price) Hinde, he was born in Orange, California on October 29, 1959. In his youth he moved with his family to the Sacramento area where he graduated from high school and later attended college. Robert was a self-employed building contractor in the San Francisco Bay area for a number of years. For three years he worked at a non-profit children's center in Fairfax, California. A year ago Robert moved to the Rushlight area of Ocean Park for a little peace and quiet. Family was his priority and he also enjoyed gardening and fishing and working outdoors. He was a talented and experienced welder. He and Linda Nackerud married 20 years ago and she survives residing in Ocean Park. Also surviving are his mother Joyce and husband Mike Bananno of Pilot Hill, California; father Robert Hinde of Pittsburg, California; children Heather and Misty Bannanno, Amanda Hill, Jenese Sieben and Dawn Allen; four brothers; 13 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert's family and friends will celebrate his life at a service to be held in California. Memorials may be made to the Fairfax-San Anselmo Children's Center.
