Frederick E. Morris, of Ocean Park, Washington, was born June 12, 1945 in Van Nuys, California on June 12, 1945. He died in Ilwaco, Washington on February 26, 2009 at the age of 63. Fred was raised in California prior to serving in the United States Army from 1965 through 1967. Fred met his "sweetheart" Micki in 1986 and in 1994 they eloped to Hawaii where they were married under a rainbow. Long time residents of Battle Ground, Washington, Fred and Micki escaped the big city in 2003 when they moved to Ocean Park. Fred was a salesman with a long career, most recently with City Transfer of Astoria, Oregon. He was a member of both the Ocean Park Moose and Ocean Park Eagles lodges. Our Freddie enjoyed life. He loved to laugh and had a knack for making friends wherever he was. He lived for his family and pets, his numerous pals and his fantasy football. Fred will be missed by many including his wife Micki; son Jason; daughters Lisa, Brooke, Janine and Andrea; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Fred hated funerals, so there will be a potluck remembrance with a Budweiser toast at the Moose Lodge in Ocean Park on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2 PM.
