OCEAN PARK - Ronald G. Jenson, 72, of Ocean Park, WA, passed away peacefully October 7, 2009, in Seattle, WA. He was born May 30, 1937, in Watertown, South Dakota, to Earl and Irma Jean (Mattson) Jenson. Ron served in the US Army for 9 years in his youth. After leaving the Army he joined Montgomery Wards in retail sales/management for 18 years. After taking early retirement from Wards, he purchased and operated his own insurance agency in St. Petersburg, Florida for many years. Upon selling his business he moved to the west coast to be near his brothers and settled in Ocean Park where he met and married his soul mate Joanne (Cyphers) Jenson in 2003. Ron is survived by his spouse Joanne Jenson; his two daughters Cindy D'Aurora of Panama City, Florida and Ronnet Rice of Columbus, Georgia; his stepson, Christopher Campbell of Eugene, Oregon; his two brothers Gary Jenson of Battleground, Washington, and Alan Jenson of Rapid City South Dakota; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his kind heart and gentle soul, his generosity, his integrity, his creativity and artistic ability, his beautiful smile, and his special love, Gracie. A private memorial for family and friends will be held at the Jenson residence on Saturday, October 17th, 2009, between 1 and 4 PM. The guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com
