Connie Hendrickson

Klipsan Beach resident Connie Hendrickson, 65, died November 16, 2009 in Portland following a short illness. Born May 6, 1944 in Quincy, Illinois she was the daughter of Gordon and Zada (Mathews) Pelton. When she was 12 years old she moved with her parents to California where she graduated from high school. When Connie was 22 she moved to Washington State where she was employed as a bartender and restaurant cook for a number of years. In 1992 she married Don Hendrickson and they resided in Longview for the next 10 years prior to moving to the coast. Connie was a member of Ocean Park Eagles, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Audubon Society and the South Pacific County Humane Society. She enjoyed playing bingo, casino gambling and traveling. Connie loved birds and all animals, especially bald eagles and horses. Connie is survived by her husband Don of Klipsan Beach and her sister Paulette of Austin, Texas.
