Dorothy Ann Koerner

Dorothy A. Koerner, 81, died January 7, 2010 at her Long Beach residence following a brief battle with cancer. The daughter of Jesse and Karen Stamm, she was born in Bellingham, Washington on June 21, 1928. Dorothy lived in Bellingham all of her life until moving to Long beach in 2004. Dorothy married Ted Koerner on September 12, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Dorothy enjoyed her life at the beach where she loved to walk the boardwalk. She also enjoyed trips to local casinos, long drives and spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Marti and son-in-law Joe of Seaview; seven grandchildren and sixteen grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her youngest daughter Patti, her parents, one sister, and two brothers.
