Judith Diane "Judy" Crowston, 70, of Ocean Park, WA died April 27, 2010. She was born February 8, 1940 in Olympia to Vitus and Helen (Cleveland) Brooks, the eldest of three children. While she had a humble upbringing, she always felt like a princess. Judy graduated from Federal Way High School where she was a cheerleader and a homecoming princess. On April 18, 1959 she married her soul mate for life, Val Crowston, in Federal Way. Here she raised their four beautiful children, whom she loved and did so much for. Judy worked as a nurse in Obstetrics, and loved kissing the babies. After forty-eight years of marriage, Val passed away on March 18, 2007. After visiting the peninsula over the years, Val & Judy built their home here in 1996. She loved the beauty of the beach and the community. Judy enjoyed reading and gardening. But most of all, her passion was to be around her grandchildren, watching them play sports. No better time could be spent that being in her comfy chair with her daughter Laurie and granddaughter Vallori. Judy is survived by children Lance Crowston of Auburn, WA, Layne Crowston of Maple Valley, Laurie Crowston of Ocean Park and special daughter Lori Crowston of Long Beach; brother Terry Brooks of Burley, WA; sister Deanna Brooks of Ocean Park; grandchildren Brandon, Vallori, Jessica and Lacey Crowston and many beloved nieces and nephews.
