Kandy Cheryl Lange

Long Beach resident Kandy C. Lange, 65, died May 7, 2010 at a local care facility. The daughter of Otto and Lorraine (Shelp) Lange, she was born in Longview, Washington on November 11, 1944. In 1950 Kandy moved with her parents to the Peninsula where she attended Ocean Park grade school. Kandy was developmentally disabled from birth. She was well cared for by her parents and following their deaths, by several dedicated individuals including Donna Beller, Virginia Wisner and Judy Wirkkala. Kandy attended local churches and particularly enjoyed the music and Bible study. She lived life to the fullest and was a happy individual who enjoyed "going places" and new adventures. During her years on the Peninsula she made many friends and touched many lives. There are no immediate survivors. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 13, 2010, 4:00 PM at Ilwaco Cemetery.
