Shannon Jo Pennick

Shannon J. Pennick, 47, died June 24, 2010 of natural causes at her Long Beach residence where she had lived the past year. The daughter of A.J. and Doris (Richards) Pennick, she was born August 12, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas. The family moved to Lynnwood, Washington where Shannon grew up and graduated from Mariner High School. Shannon was a licensed massage therapist and for the past year had been employed in Ocean Park as a caregiver. She enjoyed life at the coast and was particularly fond of her dogs and cats. She and John Rembold were married and later divorced. Survivors include her father A.J. Pennick of Ocean Park; mother Doris Pennick of Long Beach; brother Bradley Pennick; sister Marci Lindsey; her niece Kayla Lindsey; and her special friend Louis Ferrara. No service will be held.
