Doris Yvonne Hopkins

Doris Yvonne Hopkins, 80. of Ocean Park, WA died July 21, 2010 at a local hospital. She was born May 21, 1930 in Wessington, North Dakota. The family moved to Portland, OR and Doris graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948. Doris spent her entire working career at the phone company in Portland where she worked in accounting, retiring after forty-three years. Following retirement she moved to her favorite area, the Long Beach Peninsula. In 1949 she married Norm Angleen, they later divorced. She later married Rick Hopkins, who preceded her in death in 2005. Doris enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, shopping and cruises to Alaska. Most of all she loved her dogs. She was active in the Eagles, Elks and Eastern Star. She had a very giving heart. Doris is survived by daughter Debbie Angleen-Christen of Troutdale, OR and son-in-law Mark and sister Dorothy Tribble. Private family services will be held at a later date.
