Long time Klipsan Beach resident Ada M. Williams, 93, died August 1, 2010 in a local care facility. The daughter of George and Gala (Robinson) Ramlow, she was born October 12, 1916 in Trego, Montana. Ada grew up in Eureka, Montana where she received her education and graduated from Eureka High School. On January 1, 1935 she married Floyd Williams. They established their first some near Libby, Montana on Swamp Creek and Ada settled into her life role of wife, mother and homemaker. Ada later returned to school and obtained her education as a licensed practical nurse. Over her long nursing career she was employed at many health care facilities including Ocean Beach Hospital in Ilwaco, local nursing homes and several doctors offices. After residing in many locations over the years, she and Floyd moved from Spokane to Klipsan Beach in 1971 where they built their retirement home. Floyd died in 1994 following 59 years of marriage. Ada moved to Golden Sands at Klipsan Beach several years ago and just recently relocated to Circle of Life care center in Long Beach. Christian faith was paramount in Ada's life. She served many churches in many capacities over the years and was an active member of Peninsula Baptist Church in Ocean Park. Her grandchildren, her pets, gardening, canning fruit and cooking for her family brought her great joy. Additionally she enjoyed playing the piano and organ at various venues includes churches and nursing homes and Ada took pride in the many friendships she made with patients over her nursing career. Ada is survived by her daughters Norma (Howard) Riebe and Neva Braun both of Spokane, WA, Georgia Hall Krager of Chinook, WA and Sue (Les) Madsen of Ocean Park, WA; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband Ada was preceded in death by her son Alan and grandson Gary Braun. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010, 11:00 AM at Peninsula Baptist Church in Ocean Park with a reception following. Concluding graveside service will be Monday, August 9, 2010, 1:00 PM at Fairmount M2emorial Park in Spokane. The casket will be open at the church prior to the service.
