Sally Janice Szot

Sally Janice Szot, 71, of Surfside, died August 10, 2010 in Ilwaco. She was born on April 4, 1939 in Seaside, OR to Leonard and Margaret (Kaufman) Sanders. At age two the family moved to Southern California where Sally remained for most of her adult life. She graduated from Culver City High School and worked as a secretary at Point Mugu Naval Air Station until retirement. She was proceeded in death by her husband Leon Szot in 1987. She is survived by her mother Margaret Neal of Surfside; companion Charles Fauckner of Surfside; brother Lindsey Callicoatt of Hawaii and two grandchildren Tori and Becca. No formal funeral services are planned. Arrangements by Penttila's Chapel by The Sea, Long Beach.
