Chinook, Washington resident Rosalie Walker, 66, died in Astoria, Oregon on November 7, 2010. The daughter of Harry and Lena (Lumsden) Inman, she was born in Centralia, Washington on July 12, 1944. Rosalie grew up in the Toledo area where she received her education. On April 14, 1962 she married Robert S. Walker. The couple settled in Woodland, Washington. There Rosalie became a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. Twenty years ago she moved to Chinook. Rosalie loved to visit family and friends. She also enjoyed salmon fishing and watching hummingbirds who were frequent visitors to her yard. Road trips were a special treat and she dearly loved her canine companion Missy. Besides her husband of 48 years who resides at the family residence, Rosalie is survived by daughter Melinda Makinson and spouse Lonnie of Kalama, WA; sons Bruce J. Walker and spouse Jessica of Seaview, WA and Rodney D. Walker and spouse Carol of Centralia, WA; brother Vance Inman and his family of Castle Rock, WA; sister Loretta Bohanas and her family of Toledo, WA; sister-in-laws Jan Inman and her family of Toledo and Faith Rucker and her family of Tacoma; and the Graham family and grandchildren whom she loved dearly Trenton Makinson and Olivia Walker and many other members of the extended family. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 12, 2010, 11:00 AM at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea in Long Beach with a reception following at the chapel.
