Dan Moravec

Daniel B. "Dan" Moravec, 51, died at his Ocean Park residence on March 29, 2011. The son of Warren and Elsie (Hollinger) Moravec, Dan was born in Centralia, Washington on January 28, 1960. Soon after his birth the family moved to Ilwaco. Dan resided on the Peninsula the remainder of his life, living in Ilwaco, Long Beach, Chinook and Ocean Park. Dan attended local schools. He followed the call of the sea and became a commercial fisherman, fishing locally and in Alaska. Dan is survived by his three children Katherine, Travis and Jennifer; sisters Karen McIlroy of Puyallup, WA and Linda Moravec of Rochester, WA; and nephew Danny Moravec. No services are scheduled.
