Marva Eleanor Martin

Marva E. Martin, 57, died of natural causes at her Ocean Park residence on May 3, 2011. Born November 8, 1954 in Seattle, Washington, Marva's ancestry was native Aleut and Caucasian. Marva was employed as a secretary/Clerk 1 at the University of Washington in Seattle for a number of years. Three years ago she moved to Ocean Park with her partner Steve Wonser. Marva enjoyed the serenity of the Peninsula, was a kind and gentle soul, and was a friend to many and a spiritual soul proud of her native ancestry. Over the years she led many people to the Lord and her family takes comfort in knowing that she rests in heaven forever. Besides her partner and best friend Steve, Marva is survived by daughters Marian Martin and Marie Cahoon both of Ellensburg, Washington; her aunt Bevronia; nephew Zach Martin; and other members of her extended family.
