Former Long Beach resident, Teri L. Parmeter, 63, died July 2, 2011 at a Woodland, Washington care center. The daughter of Mickey and Sharon (Eaglin) Baird, she was born June 3, 1948 in Grants Pass, Oregon. Teri was employed in various capacities in retail sales and customer service. While living on the peninsula, she delivered flowers for a local flower shop. Ten years ago she moved to the Longview, Washington area where she resided. Teri was a very loving and caring person, one who always treated others like family. An avid fan of the great outdoors, she enjoyed camping, fishing and exploring. She was also a gifted artisan who created various projects with her imagination and her hands. Over the years, too, she enjoyed many visits to the Peninsula. Teri is survived by her mother Sharon (Elmer) Hanscam; sister Vicki (David) Whitemarsh; daughter Heather (David) Wilkins; son Lee Parmeter; one grandson; and numerous other members of her extended family. A family gathering is planned for later this summer. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 747 Wheeler St., Longview, Washington 98632.
