Phillip Rice Jackson, 63, of Ocean Park died August 27, 2011 at home. He was born September 25, 1947 to Harold and Marion (Rice) Jackson in LOs Angeles/Hollywood where his parents were in the entertainment production industry. He attended school there and in 1969 moved to Washington State. He married Debbie Galster in 1979 and conceived their first born Kelli. They later divorced. He attended Clatsop Community College and studied at University of Minnesota to be a drug & alcohol counselor. Mainly his working career was in the forest. He was a certified arborist. He worked for many years as a logger with Weyerhaeuser. He also owner his own business, Out On A Limb Tree Service. Phil had a passion for motorcycles. He was a member of the A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club of Pacific County. He love the beach, taking his dogs out to it to run and searching for glass balls. In addition, he enjoyed fishing boating and going to the casinos. He was a member of the Eagles for over ten years. He is survived by daughters Kelli Gray of Long Beach and Mary Thatcher of Naselle as well as grandchildren Viktor, Stephan, Jarod, Kyle, Natalie and Lyndsey. No formal services are planned.
