Morris Albert O'Connor

Morris Albert O'Connor, 664, native of Chinook, died at home in Chinook on September 1, 2011. He was born on February 8, 1947 in Astoria to Max and Mary Jane (Nelson) O'Connor. He attended local schools, graduating from Ilwaco High School in 1965.In 1966 he was inducted into the Army, serving with the 9th Infantry Division in Vietman. Upon seperation from the service, Morris returned to the area were he worked in the commercial fishing industry his whole life. He enjoyed his nieces and nephews, working on boats and loved animals. He is survived by his mother Mary Jane Ward of Chinook; brothers Mark O'Connor of Vancouver, WA, Casey O'Connor of Owings Mill, MD, and Andrew O'Connor of Chinook; sisters Nicki Raney of Chinook, Mary Vitale of Anderson, CA and Lisa O'Connor of Chinook; nieces and nephews Brian Vitale, Travis Vitale, Kellie O'Connor, Stephen O'Connor, Katie O'Connor and Christopher Barrett.
