Marseillaise A. Stephenson

Marseillaise A. Stephenson, age 93, passed away on November 26, 2011 at her residence in Ocean Park, Washington. She was born on June 26, 1918 in Carson, Washington. She and her husband Lavern lived in the Tri-Cities until they retired in Ocean Park, Washington in the mid 70's. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Lavern; her grandson Larry Stephenson; five brothers, Andrew St. Martin, Eli St. Martin, Presque St. Martin, Albert St. Martin, Joseph St. Martin; and two sisters Adrienne St. Martin and Olivia St. Martin. She was also preceded in death by her parents Isadore and Felicite St. Martin. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons, Larry Stephenson (Lucy) of Kennewick, Washington and Jim Stephenson (Betty Jo) of Edmonds, Washington. Also surviving are six grandchildren Tracey Crook (Don), Kelly Piggott, John Stephenson (Stephanie), Mark Stephenson, Erin Carnahan (Jimmy), Alexis Strecker (Owen); nine great grandchildren Justine Bunch, Vinny Bunch, Stephen Piggott, Harrison Seaborn, Ryan Seaborn, Jayce Carnahan, Nate Carnahan, Marci Stephenson, Johanna Stephenson; sister-in-law Melba James of Portland, Oregon; cousins Hughie St. Martin and Margaret Bredimus; and many nieces and nephews including Bob Jancar and his son Steven of Kennewick, Washington.   She devoted her life to her family and everyone received her love. The impact that she had on her family will be felt for many generations. Her home was a place of joy for all. She had many wonderful friends on the Peninsula and enjoyed their company immensely. She truly lived a wonderful, blessed life and made a positive impact on everyone.   Recitation of The Rosary will be held at 11:15 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaview and a reception to follow at the church. Concluding graveside service will be held at Ocean Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Her guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
