Doris Wilde

Ocean Park resident Doris A. Wilde, 93, died at her residence on December 21, 2011. She was born February 3, 1918 on the Winnebago Indian Reservation in Nebraska. She lived a full life and enjoyed her Christian faith and church activities. A ten year resident of the Peninsula, Doris was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Seaview. Doris was a loving person, strong in family values and her love was shared with family and friends who will miss her presence. Doris is survived by her son John Klattenhoff; daughter Betty Klattenhoff; two daughters-in-laws Deana Bernash and Shirley Klattenhoff; grandchildren Karla Brown and Steve Klattenhoff; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Erwin Wilde and her son Fritz Klattenhoff. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012, 1:00 PM at St. John Lutheran Church in Seaview. Memorials are suggested to CCAP of Ilwaco, Harbors Home Hospice, or the South Pacific County Animal Shelter. Arrangements are by Penttila's Chapel by The Sea, Long Beach.
