Seaview resident Cory A. Tuttle, 41, died February 5, 2012 in Ilwaco of natural causes. The son of William and Cathy (Enquist) Tuttle, he was born in Vancouver, Washington on January 25, 1971. Cory grew up in Vancouver and was a 1990 graduate of Hudson Bay High School. Cory moved to Seaview in 1993. As an entrepreneur he owned and operated Tuttle's Bait Shop in Seaview; packaged and sold Tuttle's Rub-n-Grub Seasoning; and co-owned and operated the Elephant Ear Wagon at the various festivals on the Peninsula. Additionally, he worked on "The Mariner", a private charter vessel owned by Lampson Crane. Cory was very much his own person and boss. He loved the outdoors and life at the coast. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his beloved canine companion Gunnar. Cory is survived by his mother Cathy Tuttle of Seaview; father William Tuttle of Kalama, WA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be missed. There will be a "Celebration of Cory's Life" at an Open House on Sunday, February 26, 2012, from 1-4 pm at the Clubhouse at Ellsworth on the Park, 10800 SE 17th Circle, Vancouver, WA.
