James "Jim" Robertson was born on Feb. 11, 1947, to Eugene and Betsy Robertson. He passed away on May 5, 2012, in Portland. During his life, Jim enjoyed working on cars, trucks and diesel engines. While in the military in the 1960s, he was a flight mechanic on the USS Enterprise. He was a hard worker, a veteran and proud of his service to our country. Jim was also a "Jack of all Trades." Anything he got as a challenge, he could more than likely figure out a solution. He worked with his associates and friends at Long Beach Realty for 22 years he was loved and cared about by the entire real estate community on the Peninsula. He was such a special man. Jim loved his children, and was a wonderful father. He is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughters, Melody, Treasure and Cheyenne; sons, Austin, Scott and Todd; sisters, Janice Mitchell and Kay Bailey; and brothers, Kenneth Robertson and Dale Robertson. His parents and a sister, Bethann Robertson, preceded him in death. Jim will be deeply missed and remembered always by his family and friends. At his request, there will be no funeral service or memorial. Penttila's Chapel by The Sea in Long Beach is in charge of arrangements.
