Kathryn Black

Kathryn P. Black, 72, died at her Long Beach, Washington residence on May 30, 2012. A native of San Francisco, California, she was born there on July 3, 1939, the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn Claffy. Kathryn moved to the Peninsula five years ago from Bakersfield, California. She enjoyed time with family and friends and was a member of the Elks, Moose and Eagles. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmom. Survivors include her husband Freddie Black of Long Beach; children Debra and Chris; son-in-law Mike; brothers Charles and William; and grandson Ryan. Private family services will be held.
