David R. Cadwell, 81, went to be with our Lord on August 1, 2012 at his Ilwaco residence. A 36 years resident of the Peninsula, David was a dedicated board member and played the trombone at the Family Worship Center in Ocean Park. Dave was born on Oct. 22, 1930 in Kelso, Washington, the son of Azar and Alvina Cadwell. Following high school he served in the U.S. Marine Corps and played the trombone in the Marine Corps band. David was an electrician, boat builder, and commercial fisherman. He loved playing the trombone with the "Noisy Neighbors" in local nursing homes and enjoyed a lifelong passion for fishing and the sea. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 52 years Lorraine Cadwell (McNeal), 2 sisters, and 1 brother. He is survived by his wife Gloria Cadwell, his children Kim and Brian Cutting and Jim and Sheryl Cadwell; sisters Eaudeal Aho, Juanita Bredfield, Ginger Milbrandt; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
