Julie A. Burns

Naselle resident Julie A. Burns, 50, died of natural causes in Astoria on November 8, 2013. A native of Chehalis, Washington, she was born there December 23, 1962. Seventeen years ago she moved to Naselle with her long time companion Antonio Rodriguez and their three daughters. Julie worked at Okie's Select Market in Naselle and loved her community as much as the community loved her. Family was paramount to Julie and she was always smiling, jovial and liked to see others smile. Besides Antonio, Julie is survived by daughters Jennifer Poynter of Eugene, Oregon and Sandra Rodriguez of Lemmore, California and Alycia Rodriguez; sisters Tammy Rodriguez of Toledo, Washington and Lisa Middleton of Kelso, Washington; and brother Robert Tepponen of Centralia, WA. Julie's family invites the community to a celebration of her life and potluck to be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 beginning at 12 noon at the Naselle Grange Hall on Knappton Road.
