Kevin Patrick Allen, 52, a life long resident of the Peninsula, died November 18, 2013 at his Seaview residence surrounded by family. Kevin fought a courageous battle with cancer the past few months. The birth son of William and Frances (Baker) Allen, he was born March 17, 1961 in Portland, Oregon. Kevin grew up on the Peninsula and was a graduate of Ilwaco High School. Kevin was employed as a fish fileter at Chinook Packing and Pacific Coast Seafoods and was awarded recognition for his skills and expertise. He fished commercially before becoming a long haul truck driver. Kevin enjoyed fishing for tuna on the ocean, was an avid hunter and a true lover of the outdoors. He was proud of his long time membership in AA. Kevin is survived by his brothers Michael (Jeannine) Allen of Chinook and Andrew (Shelley) Walls of Seaview and Reno (Linda) Allen of Goldendale, WA as well as Sean Allen of Oregon; sister Joyce (John "JR") Chase of Goldendale; numerous nieces and nephews; and members of his extended family.
