Naselle resident Donna M. Kandoll went home to be with Jesus on Dececember 15, 2013 in Astoria. A native of Los Angeles, California, she was born September 15, 1943, the daughter of Michael and Joanna Grinsteiner. She grew up in Spokane where she attended parochial school and Shadle Park High School. Donna was residing in Seattle where she married and raised her three children. In 1985 she moved to Naselle and there she married Kenneth Kandoll on May 24, 1986. Besides her role as a wife, mother and homemaker Donna was a business contractor and farmer. Donna was a member of Pacific Bible Church in Ilwaco. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, dancing and horseback riding. Additionally she wrote songs, loved to sing and in the spirit of her faith helped those in need. Besides her husband, Donna is survived by children Chris Bigham of Amarillo, Texas, Betty (Bigham) Sauls of Naselle and Andy Bigham of Kent, WA; sister Marianna Evans of Spokane; four granddaughters and four great-grandsons. Memorial service will be held Sat., January 11, 2014, 4 PM at Pacific Bible Church in Ilwaco. In place of flowers her family requests donations to the Donna Kandoll Memorial Fund at Raymond Federal, the proceeds of which will be distribted between her charities.
