Bernard W. "Bill" Cox, 74, died December 12, 2-13 at his Ocean Park residence following a valiant battle with several illnesses. A native of Tacoma, he was born there October 27, 1940. He was a veteran of service with the US Navy. Bill came to the Peninsula 40 years ago. he was emplpyed as a master meahanic on autos and was also known for his electrical skills. He was a member of Ocean Park Eagles and enjoyed being a handyman for friends and neighbors and drawing sketches of orchids. He had a life-long dream of being a gold prospector. Bill is survived by his children Kathy (Mark) Pierson of Winton, CA, William Cox of Albany, OR and Kevin Cox of Seattle; brother Ron Cox of Ocean Park; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
