Dwain Miller was born in Oakland, California, the son of Ralph and Hilda Miller. He was raised in Bend, Oregon where he graduated from high school in 1953. In 1954 he joined the US Army and served during the Korean Conflict. Returning to Bend he worked as a glazer and was part owner of Cascade Glass Co. for over 20 years. When retirement called he and his wife Frances moved to Ocean Park where he pursued his love of fishing and crabbing. The couple enjoyed winter months in Mexico where once again the lure of fishing called. Survivors include his wife of 47 years; four children; and six grandchildren. At Dwain's request there will be no formal service. His cremated remains will be taken to sea so he can meet up once again with his fishing buddies. His guestbook is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
