Former Ocean Park resident Lois G. Elliott, 95, died in Portland on November 1, 2014. A native of Kellogg, Idaho, Lois was born February 24, 1919, the daughter of Joe and Leona Gray. She grew-up in Kellogg where she shared maby adventures. Her schooling was in Idaho and Washington. Lois was employed as a secretary and librarian assistant at the Tahoma School District and Green River Community College while residing in Maple Valley, Washington. A frequent visitor the the Peninsula, she moved permanently here in 1977 and was employed by the Ocean Beach School District until retirement. Lois was a charter member of Lutheran Family Fellowship which later became Ocean Park Lutheran Church and enjoyed many friendships. In later years she resided at Golden Sands in Klipsan Beach with her husband The Rev. Joseph Elliott. She moved to the Portland area several years ago to be near family. Lois enjoyed time with family and friends, her faith, and traveling. Blessed with a out-going, friendly personality, she also had a wonderful sense of humor. Lois is survived by her sons The Rev. Dr. Joe Smith of Portland, David Smith of Enumclaw, WA, Gary Smith of Spokane, and Chris Smith of Seattle; and numerous other members of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband.
