Nancy Wilson-Hastings

Former Peninsula resident Nancy Wilson-Hastings, 76, died in Lacey, Washington on April 4, 2015. A native of Ilwaco, she was born there February 2, 1939. As a child during World War II Nancy sang for the departing troops. Nancy graduated from Ilwaco High School in 1957. Though she travelled and lived in other locations, she always considered the Peninsula home. She was a long-time volunteer at the Peninsula Visitors Bureau in Seaview. Her father fished commercially locally. Nancy's family has many "roots" locally and throughout her live she savored many wonderful memories of the beach and the surrounding area. Private graveside service will be held.
