ILWACO — The Lord called home Mike Reynolds, 66, on February 10, 2018. He was born on Nov. 27, 1951, in Bremerton, Washington. He was a native of Washington, residing in Pacific County for the last 18 years.
He was preceded in death by two children, Jamie and Cory. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 35 years, and three surviving children, Michaelyn, Kevin, Amanda, and son-in-law Alex; as well as eight grandchildren, Nathanual, Jasmine, Leithan, Bionca, Johnathan, Julie, Alina, Evan and one great-grandchild, Zemera.
Mike passed from a heart attack at his home doing what he loved to do, working on his property, enjoying the outdoors with his wife at his side.
According to Linda, “We shared a truly blessed love. We were each other’s best friend and soul mate. Mike’s passions in life were fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. I used to tease him that he was once a fish because he was so talented at it. He had to have had some inside secrets.”
There are people not listed under his kids and grandchildren that called him Dad and Grandpa because he loved so many; you know who you are.
Mike was a kind and loving man that loved life and people. He knew no strangers and lived with a generous heart and soul.
“Mike, thank you for your love. I was truly blessed to have shared a life with Mike. As he and I always said, a man and woman that play together and work together, stay together. Although his life was cut way too short, there is no time limit for our love. My love is forever and eternity. I will miss you until the end of my days. May God bless you, until we meet again.” Love Linda.
