Elizabeth Manke Dalton, 46, went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 16, 2018, after a snorkeling accident in Oahu, Hawaii.
She was born in Tacoma, Washington to Donald & Rebecca Manke, then baptized and confirmed at Central Lutheran Church. Elizabeth graduated from Stadium High School and Western Washington University with a B.A. in Education. She met her husband Robert Dalton while working at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop and they were married in 1995.
Throughout Elizabeth’s life she showed grace and love to everyone she encountered. During her time as an elementary school teacher, she was beloved by her students for her calm and gentle manner. Elizabeth’s warm laugh and quick sense of humor were cherished throughout the Naselle community, where she lived for more than 20 years. An expert crafter, jewelry maker, and knitter she was happiest when working on a new project for family, friends or her Etsy store. The legacy of her creations continue to bring joy to many who knew her. Truly, Elizabeth made the world a more beautiful place.
She is survived by her parents Don & Becky; her husband, Rob; her four children Parker (17), Peyton (14), Lukas (10) & Addison (8); her brother Chris Manke, sister-in-law Lynley, her niece Kyra (11) and her nephew Erik (9); her father-in-law Bob Dalton; her brother-in-law Ray Dalton and her nephews Drew (25 ) and Lane (22 ).
